I Am Willing

There’s an ancient story in the Bible about a leper who had heard about the miraculous healing powers of some man named Jesus.
In the story, the leper found where Jesus was and came to him, begging him saying, “Lord, if you are WILLING, you can make me whole.” Side note: at this time in history, being a leper meant you could not be in the mix of healthy people. You were completely cut off from your family, friends, and life as you knew it. You would be isolated in a colony of other leper’s where you would all be left to rot and die. In other words leprosy was a death sentence.
This man was at the end of his proverbial rope and was WILLING to do ANYTHING for a chance at life causing him to break the law and pursue this man he had heard MIGHT be able to heal him.
When the leper found him, he asked if Jesus was WILLING to heal him. As the story goes, Jesus saw the man and simply replied....”I am WILLING. Be whole.” And the man’s leprosy was instantly healed.
There’s no account of a magic spell, a potent potion, a pill, an exercise, etc. only that BOTH parties were WILLING to allow the miracle. In fact, the initial willingness of the leper provoked the willingness of the healer and caused the healing itself to be absolutely certain and unavoidable.
Willingness is a lesson all on its own and when you get aligned with it....miracles take place.
Willingness keeps you open to the FLOW of all your good. Are you WILLING to grow? WILLING to take yourself a little farther than yesterday? Willing to release your hurts and resentments? Willing to heal? I do hope you will continue to choose willingness.
At the heart of all that you learn through this process is your ability to choose something BETTER! This is the beginning of claiming your power once again.
So, today, I invite you to be WILLING to choose...
In our practice we can believe it’s our choice that sets us free when in fact it is our WILLINGNESS to choose that does all the heavy lifting.
The seeds that have been planted in your life are at work now. I am completely confident that the work you began will be finished in you! Have a fantastic, love filled week. See only good in all things. Choose win-win solutions. Be willing to choose to release anything that holds you back and watch the Miraculous unfold for you!
