I’m often amazed at how the spiritual community has perpetrated fear and shame nearly as effectively as mainstream media.
In this episode, one of my favorite guests, Shannon Morton joins me as we discuss our process of detangling ourselves from the misused and highly misunderstood idea of spiritual bypassing. In my experience there seems to be more harm and separation perpetuated by those “influencing” people’s spiritual process than anything mainstream has attempted. In fact, it seems it’s in the most organized spaces where there is fear mongering, as well as emotional, and psychological damaging things being shared as the Truth.
I’m also sharing my own path of Biological Christianity. I was raised in a traditional church setting. I’ve been labeled a “Christian” much of my life, though more than a decade ago I refused to labeled as such simply because the word had become rotten with an alternate implication about who and what I was associating with. I have refused to call myself a Christian for so long because the word itself could not touch what I was experiencing in my personal spiritual
relationship. It had been cheapened and left with no substance other than to identify me as belonging to some group, or some ideology or personality worship. At this point, my life is far more aligned to biological Christianity. It’s not meant as a label at all, but a point of reference in my awareness of God within me or as the scripture says… “the mystery that’s been hidden for ages…Christ in you, the hope of glory”.
Come and sit in on this conversation.
